On Thursday evening, November 7, just two days after the stressful election of the century, a half dozen of the most talented kirtan musicians in Sonoma County are gathering together to offer a “community heartsong” at Sebatsopol’s Masonic Lodge.
“Bathe, bless, and blast off” for a concert that aims to be a “a wide open, warm hearted welcoming for us ALL to come together in ONE heart!”
The dharmic music event flier notes, “Through Kirtan, grace, and the power of mantra, we’ll unite our voices and spirits, to uplift and commune in an energetic beyond division and separation, a place of deep harmony, peace and unconditional embrace. Be ready to hum, sing, dance, and enjoy the warmth of friends in divine community!”
The evening will feature Kiranjot Kaur, Avaya Culbertson, Bob Culbertson, Copperwoma, Matthew Hara and Kim Atkinson.

Avaya Culbertson will be singing her new inspirational song, popular in the West County spiritual community, called 10,000 Fireflies:
Matthew Hara will be singing one of my personal favorites, “Mother,” with the affirming lyrics: “Holy spirit, divine mother, a love that holds us, no matter…”
The event is a fundraiser for the Ahladini Foundation (“unlimited love and devotion” in Sanskrit), in their gracious and ongoing support to keep the children’s school alive and flourishing in Nepal.
